The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of the best sales ever and has deals for everyone in your family for fall. It only happens once a year at this time (think right before school starts for us momma Empresses!), and they give early access to card holder members that hold Nordstrom debit and credit cards. (FYI–I personally have the debit card and love it, since I don’t use credit cards. Got myself in a tiny bit of trouble in my younger days, so now I’m strictly only buy if I have the money!) <- That’s a whole other post! LOL. If you have a Nordstrom card, you get to shop in the store early and have first access to the best fall must have’s! It’s like being in the club you never were invited to join…but, Nordstrom thinks you’re cool enough to join…just get a card! LOL.
The Anniversary Sale gives card holders the ability to have first access to have first peek and dibs at the new and trendy fall fashion pieces at extraordinary prices, but the good news is, now it is open for everyone to shop! Now, that the sale is open to everyone, including non-card holders, I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss it and share with you some of my purchases, items I already own, and my recommendations for fall must have items

Treasure&Bond Fringed Poncho // Stuart Weitzman Tyler Wraparound Flats (Less expensive Steve Madden Sunshine version here) // Kendra Scott Elle Drop Earrings // Hinge Wool Hat // Lush Bell Sleeve Shift Dress // Tory Burch Ashlynn Riding Boots // Frye Melissa Button Riding Boots // Halogen Ribbed Cashmere Poncho // BP. Tassel Crossbody
“Basics” are everything, especially in the fall, when you can mix and match items for layering. I love a cowl neck or swing dress, especially if it’s sleeveless, so you can wear it in the summer, but also in the winter with a cashmere cardigan like this Halogen one in the most beautiful blue hue. That way if you get too hot, you can pull off the layers and breathe for a moment! And if you don’t want to splurge on cashmere, this colorblock cardi is super cute! You can also pair it with skinny jeans or black leggings and the riding boots above and you have a simple yet put together look with one piece that can be styled multiple ways! That’s the love of a “basic”! I picked up a few sleeveless dresses during the sale that sold out so fast like this Socialite Cowl Neck Shift Dress, but don’t worry, after the sale everything will replenish, so make sure to stay with me to see how I style it all and you can buy then if you still like it. Albeit, at full price, but sometimes it’s better to not make rash decisions when it comes to clothes. 🙂 A few other pieces that I added to my closet, and especially love, love, love is this BP. Cross Front Woven Blouse (I bought an XS for size reference) that is perfect for work or play and this BP. Stripe Mock Tee (also an XS) that will go with everything!!! These Pleione Bell Cuff High/Low tops are everything and if I could get one in every color I would! What a great basic that will create so many different outfits! I hope you were inspired by this post and I can’t wait to style all my fall goodies once this weather starts to cool off and we get to start drinking pumpkin spice lattes again! Have a great week and happy shopping, Empresses! I hope you find some great steals and would love to see what you grab at the #NSALE! Let us know by using the #styleyourempire so we can see your new threads! There’s always plenty to go around at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I can’t wait to see what you pick!
